Understanding the Renuvion Procedure
Before your Renuvion procedure, you will receive anesthesia to make you as comfortable as possible. During the procedure, your physician will place a probe underneath your skin that will deliver a combination of helium plasma and radiofrequency energy through small entry points. Once your tissues have reached the ideal temperature for contraction, they cool back down in less than a second.
Renuvion does not require large surgical openings, eliminating the chance of significant scarring and lowering postoperative pain. Since this procedure is performed underneath the skin, it is more effective than noninvasive skin-tightening applicators.
Results from Renuvion
Most results take six to nine months to fully appreciate. It is important to note that all devices and procedures have limitations. Unfortunately, there is no magic in any of these devices.
Renuvion or any other device will not correct all of your loose skin, and results vary from patient to patient. However, Renuvion is a device that can certainly decrease the amount of loose skin a patient has. Additionally, Renuvion combined with liposuction or surgery is most effective.
