Dr. Oetken is a dermatologist who takes pride in practicing general and cosmetic dermatology. She is proud to offer her patients outstanding care and treats each patient as if they were family. 

After receiving her undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, Dr. Oetken earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She first considered a career in healthcare after watching her mom, a nurse, positively impact the lives of her patients. Dr. Oetken saw how rewarding her mom found her career and decided to follow in her footsteps.

Soon after, Dr. Oetken did a rotation in medical school where she found a melanoma on a young patient and was able to save their life. From that point on, she knew that dermatology was her calling.

Dr. Oetken has been part of the Cascade Eye & Skin Centers team since 2020 and loves the great support and all-around community her fellow providers create. The immediate impact and strong bond she is able to form with her patients is what drives her to provide the best possible care.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Oetken enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. On her days off, she can be found hiking trails, gardening, and going for bike rides. Dr. Oetken is excited to continue providing excellent patient care at Cascade Eye & Skin Centers and meeting more members of the community.
